BACKGROUND
William Jameson is a Strength and Conditioning Coach and exercise scientist with a proven track record across elite rugby, HYROX, boxing, and youth development. Holding a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University and completing an MSc in Strength and Conditioning at Cardiff Metropolitan University (on track for distinction), he combines academic rigour with hands-on coaching expertise.
His career includes experience with the Welsh Rugby Union and Newport Dragons RFC, where he supported Six Nations, Autumn Nations, and World Cup mini-camps. William contributed to load management, GPS monitoring, and recovery strategies, and was trusted to lead sports science duties during Wales vs. Australia in the Autumn Nations 2023—a high-pressure environment showcasing his reliability.
Beyond rugby, he has delivered tailored strength programmes for HYROX athletes, boxers, and school-level rugby squads. At Whitchurch High School, he co-led gym-based sessions for U16–U18 players, teaching both foundational and advanced lifts. At Loughborough University, he developed pre-season and in-season programmes with a focus on injury prevention and sustainable progress.
Currently, William also coaches at F45 High Street Kensington, bringing his high-energy delivery and ability to adapt to individual needs into a group training environment. This breadth of experience allows him to connect evidence-based principles with practical application, ensuring that strength training is effective for both competitive athletes and everyday clients.
William’s philosophy is simple: strength is the foundation of performance, resilience, and confidence. His coaching prioritises movement quality, progressive overload, and recovery while also recognising the importance of emotional intelligence in helping athletes grow both physically and mentally.
MY MISSION
My mission is to apply the science of strength to help athletes and individuals unlock potential, move with purpose, and perform with confidence. Through practical, evidence-based coaching, I aim to make strength training accessible, sustainable, and transformative — building resilience that supports success in sport and everyday life.
